Three people are facing a combination of 40 charges following a drug and firearms investigation.

On September 11 just before 10 pm members of the Guns and Gangs Unit, with the assistance of the Drug Unit, Tactical Support Unit, and National Weapons Enforcement Support Team searched a home with a search warrant in the 400 block of Schmeiser Bend.

Two 30-year-old men were arrested from the residence without incident. A 23-year-old man attempted to flee but was quickly taken down by a police service dog and was arrested. Warrants have also been requested for the arrest of a 30-year-old woman.

As a result of investigation, police seized;

• 2x 9mm Glock handguns
• Century Arms semi-automatic rifle
• 5x over capacity magazines
• Assorted ammunition
• $326,490 CAD
• $1,460 USD
• 2025 Hyundai Tucson
• 7,789.99 grams of soft cocaine
• 9,400.22 grams of methamphetamine
• 760x Dilaudid 8 pills.

All three have been charged with drug, weapons, and proceeds of crime offences.
