As they continue to investigate several break-ins, Prince Albert RCMP are asking area residents to report suspicious activity.

The breaks have taken place over the past week with officers charging three people and recovering a number of items at a home on 17th Street West in Prince Albert on September 17.

Officers from Prince Albert RCMP and the Saskatchewan Marshals Service attended the residence as part of an investigation into a break-and-enter reported at a property in the RM of Prince Albert earlier that day.

They say items reported as stolen during that break-and-enter were recovered. Officers also seized three firearms, tools and an e-bike, some of which are believed to have been stolen during recent break-and-enters in the area.

Prince Albert RCMP are also investigating several break-and-enters or thefts that occurred at different locations in the detachment area over the weekend of September 18 to 20. Part of that work is determining if there are any potential connections between the incidents.

Officers will be conducting extra proactive patrols in the detachment area and remind residents that when all crimes are reported to police, they can get a clearer picture of the types and numbers of crimes taking place.
