RCMP are warning owners of northern cabins that there has been a string of break-ins in recent days

On Sunday, Ile-à-la-Crosse RCMP received several reports in the Canoe River area. Officers learned that three cabins were broken into between noon on October 17 and 2 p.m. on October 18.

A black 2014 Yamaha Grizzly model ATV was also reported as stolen from the first cabin. Seven firearms were reported as stolen from a locked safe in the third cabin.

All three cabins were damaged during the break-ins.

Île-à-la-Crosse RCMP continue to investigate, including working to locate the firearms and the ATV. Anyone with information about these break-ins should contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
